Christmas and Holiday Party Invitations

I love this time of year. I am one of those people who starts decorating for Christmas on November 1st.  I think when you spend so much time and effort on decorating, you really want to enjoy it for as long as you can, especially lately when time just seems to fly by.

I am really a cold weather kind of gal. I come alive when it is about 30 degrees outside. I love the snow, the crispness of the air, and the chill of the wind against my skin. I have always been like this, since I was little. I only open the windows in the winter.

Halloween Party Invitations

OH MY! How the days have passed by!

I gotta tell you guys, I have had a rough last few months. If you follow me on my Bella Facebook, I recently posted all the goings on. It has been difficult.

And now, my favorite time of the year is slowly creeping up on me and I am afraid will pass me by!

I had really wanted to do a nice blog post about fall and Halloween and kept thinking, it is too soon back when I had the time. Now, it seems, the time has crept passed me and Halloween is fast approaching.

Unicorn Party!

When I was little, I loved unicorns. I guess I still do. My favorite movie as a child was Legend, with a young Tom Cruise. I can see today just how heavily influenced I still am by that movie in a lot of my works, from my sculptures to digital invitations. Unicorns are just a timeless childhood theme for girls.

Masquerade Parties for Spring and Summer

My top selling invites for this spring, by far, have been Masquerade themed. Masquerade parties are super hot now and will continue to be through summer and fall. Sweet 16 and Quinceanera Masquerades have been the most popular, followed by Masquerade birthday parties.

I have always been in love with this theme and am super excited to be designing invites for these lavish events! I have always been a huge fan of masquerade masks and couldn't be more delighted that they are making a HUGE comeback.

Magically Enchanting!

It has been a very busy spring for me with lots going on, lots in the works and well, just being busy enjoying the flow of creativity! My Enchanted and Magical invitations are doing very well so far this year and I wanted to take a moment to showcase some of them.

Bella Emerging

As many of you know, in January I threw on the brakes with my brick and mortar shop and completely switched gears, and boy howdy am I glad I did. It just goes to show, you should listen to your heart and gut. As much as I loved my shop, it wasn't really about me and my work and I really needed to be able to move forward with my ideas and with what I wanted. Since relieving myself of the shop, my creativity has blossomed like never before. My life has just got better, drastically better. And, as I have spent the last few months rebuilding Bella LuElla, it is finally taking shape and becoming what I had envisioned three years ago. Perhaps it took me the many detours, ups and downs and wandering to find my way. In many ways, I feel like I was a caterpillar moving along slowly and now, as a butterfly, I am emerging.

I am in the process of creating an e-commerce website and putting a few trial pieces on there - a mix of accessories and design. More on that to come. But, through out all of this, I am very pleased to see my vision of the Bella LuElla brand is really starting to take shape.
